“I’m a proud native of Colorado. My parents, three younger siblings and I moved to Salida in 1979 and my folks still live on the same farm where we grew up. I moved to the ‘big city’ for college and have been here ever since but go back to visit often. I married the love of my life, Susie, on May 30, 1998 in Littleton and we have three boys (and a dog) who keep us on our toes — there’s never a dull moment around our home, which we affectionately call the “HilleZoo”. We are all pretty active and often spend weekends riding dirt bikes on the local tracks, going mountain biking or visiting the family farm and playing in the Arkansas river. I’ve been a musician since middle school, first starting on the saxophone but switched to the bass guitar during college. I play on our church’s worship team and have been in some local bands in past years, one of which won the regional round of the Zippo Lighter Hot Tour in 2004. I’m blessed to be with people I love, do things I enjoy and live in a beautiful state.”
